Kapwa invites you to consider the question: “Is following Jesus worth it?”

Join us as we hear from Felicia Nibungco, Kapwa & Cal alum and former staff worker, as she gives a talk on the risks, challenges, and joys of following Jesus as he invites us on a journey to follow into even the hard places of life.
What does it look like for us as Pilipino-Americans to follow Jesus? Why does Jesus invite us to follow at all? Is it even worth the trouble? Come out on Tuesday to find out!
We’ll sing some songs, eat some food, meet new people, see some old friends, and hear from God’s Word.
Kapwa began in 1994 as a vision and a prayer that Pilipino American students would have a safe space to address: how does Pilipino culture and faith intersect?
Today, Kapwa is a space for anyone interested in learning more about God, God’s love for his people as well as issues of faith, culture, and justice.
Time: Tuesday, October 5 · 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Tan Oak Room (4th Floor, MLK Student Union)

Small Groups & Bible Study will meet at Stadium Place (corner of Fulton & Durant) Apt. 317.
